Originally commissioned by the Order of the Most Holy Trinity in celebration of the 800th anniversary of its founding, Steven Janco's revised Mass of Redemption is a gem of ritual music writing. Set for presider, cantor, choir, assembly, keyboard, and guitar (with optional instrumental parts for brass quartet and timpani, two woodwinds, or handbells), the choral writing is in two parts (SA/TB) with optional third voice at climaxes of various sections.
