Symphony No. 17 In G Major, K. 129 III. Finale composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. 1756-1791. Arranged by Sandra Dackow. For String Orchestra. Grade 3. Set of parts. Published by Tempo Press. TM.10250112. This symphony was written in Salzburg, in May of 1772, when the composer was sixteen, during a year of incredible maturing as a symphonist. Eight symphonies followed one another within less than a year, showing the influence of a recent visit to Italy. This sunny finale, with its flavor of the hunt, offers a good example of the young composer's work at a time when he was rapidly absorbing the influence of various national styles.
