Written for the opening concert of the 7th Annual Northeast Kansas Total Percussion Camp at Washburn, University, "The Happy Camper Blues" is a rock n' roll style blues in B-flat that features the vibes. A written-out vibraphone solo is included but the player should feel to improvise. The drum set part is also written out, but it is only a suggestion and the player should embellish as needed.
