The new addition of what is doubtless Petr Eben's most famous composition for the royal instrument originates from a revision, which he completed in cooperation with the author, Professor Jan Hora. After the half century existence of this cycle the organ has experienced certain change. It was therefore necessary to correct the entry to what today is a classical composition, to adequately meet the present options open to the organ. But it was not only the present aspects of the nature of this work that affected its form printed in the last addition.
