WL.007222. "This beautifully expressive a cappella choral composition by the late Fr. Chrysogonus Waddell is fast becoming a WLP classic. Composed in 1955 on the eve of Chrysogonus' solemn profession as a Trappist Cistercian monk, the manuscript was laid aside and forgotten until many years later, when it was shown to Steve Warner as a potential addition to the repertoire of the Notre Dame Folk Choir. This brought the piece to the attention of WLP, and many parishes have since discovered this choral jewel. ""Rosa Mystica"" is recorded on Wisdom, My Road. Gorgeous part writing along with Fr. Chrysogonus' precise dynamic, phrase, and breath markings shape and paint the touching image of Mary and the Christ child. A rehearsal piano part is included in the octavo.
