" Ironically, Castelnuovo-Tedesco was later to leave Italy just before World War II, amidst the rise of racial laws which, among other things, banned his music from Italian radio. Italy's loss was Hollywood's gain, as Castelnuovo-Tedesco went on to score over 200 films.
